We're all about being green, especially in the RV industry.
Using consensus standards we analyze, measure, evaluate and certify RV manufacturers and vendors for energy efficiency and environmental friendliness. We're located in the very heart and soul of the RV business community, Elkhart, Indiana. From here our unique, third-party certification organization can look at RV's and help you decide what RV is green enough for your lifestyle.
We certify that a manufacturer is "green capable" and uses their process, materials and components for a truly green assembly. We also verify the green claims of materials and components suppliers.
This means, when you see the "Certified Green by TRA Certification" label, you can be confident a third-party has examined the unit you're interested in and found it to be qualified as green.
Our highly trained LEED & NAHB professionals stay on top of developments and accepted practices to help manufacturers achieve their quality goals. LEED stands for Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design and is a green program developed by the U.S. Green Building Council. NAHB stands for the National Association of Home Builders who also has developed a green building program. This organization trains individuals to work with a set of consensus standards for eco-friendly, sustainable design, construction and operation.
